Dosimeter Placement: Wearing Lead

Dosimeter placement with lead apron shown. When issued two dosimeters, the collar and waist badges must be worn in the correct locations. When issued a single dosimeter, it is worn at the collar. Fetal badges are worn at waist level under the lead apron.

When issued two dosimeters, the Collar (red) and Waist (yellow) must be worn correctly as a set to ensure correct dose determination when wearing lead garments.
